We will be having an EA Degree Wednesday night. We would like to see a lot of support for the new candidates introduction! We will be having practice with the District Instructor Bobby Calwell for SW, JW, and SD on opening and closing the lodge. If time allows degree practice will also be held, we can practice on the FC degree as we have several EA’s how shall be progressing to FC soon.
In addition we will be “Dark” on April 25th so that we may attend the MWSA’s Grand Master official visit to the 14th Masonic District at Hella Shrine Temple.

We are having an EA Degree Wednesday at 7:00pm. JD Jimmy Hanks will be conferring for the first time! Dinner will be at 6:00 as usual. Zavala’s second motor run is coming soon, this will be an open event to all motor vehicles (cars, bikes, trucks). This event will have a 150 mile route with food and beverages included. Entertainment will also be provided after then run, in addition a silent auction also be will held.

Brother Millard Jones is in the VA Hospital he was admitted because he doesn’t have feeling from the waist down and has been in a lot of pain. I don’t have any additional details but I will alert you all as more is found out. Keep Brother Jones in your thoughts and prayers!!!

Zavala Lodge No. 1059 AF&AM will be presenting its 2012 Golden Trowel Award to PM Robert Lee [Bobby] Caldwell on April 7th, 2012 at 6PM. Dinner to follow. “Bobby” is most deserving of this award, having been part of the revival of Zavala after its near-demise as one of its first new members, teaching and inspiring others, bringing in new good men, serving as Master of the Lodge and then as DDGM for Dist. No. 14D, and is currently our Dist. 14D instructor. This will be an open meeting [spouses, non-masons, significant others all] encouraged to join us in recognizing Bobby’s significant contributions to the Craft and Zavala Lodge in particular.
